Language Centre tutors and staff will take proactive steps to accommodate Language Centre users who have disability access requirements to the best of our ability, including scheduling classes in the two accessible classrooms.

So we can do our best to assist you, please send us an e-mail to admin@lang.ox.ac.uk before your visit or phone us on +44(0)1865 283360.

Disabled access to the Language Centre is limited as there is no lift and there is a small set of steps down to the main entrance. However, access is available through two further doors which open onto the Woodstock Road: one requires the manual positioning of a ramp from the pavement, but the other allows level access into the Centre.

There are two accessible classrooms on the ground floor, classrooms 101 and 102, and a wheeled, height-adjustable desk for use with a wheelchair is available.

There are two accessible toilets on the ground floor. One is next to classrooms 101 and 102, and the other is just off the main open-plan area.

There is currently no disabled parking available.

For further information on the Language Centre’s accessibility, please consult the University’s Access Guide.

The Language Centre’s tutors and staff are always happy to help and the Language Centre aims to accommodate students to the best of our ability, including scheduling classes in our two accessible classrooms where possible. Please make sure you let Language Centre staff know of any needs you have as soon as you enrol, by emailing admin@lang.ox.ac.uk or phoning +44 (0)1865 283360.
